These are the 4 Fall Makeup Looks that are Trending
Fall is here and it’s time to be serving some looks. With sweater weather in full swing, we got you covered with bold and simple makeup inspo. Teaming up with Profusion, we used products from their latest collection to show you what is in season.
For these looks, the base of the makeup is a very matte and bronzed foundation routine! You are going to want the eyes and lips to stand out against the rest of the face.
A classic combo fit for the movie screen! This is perfect for a casual glam day or even a cozy fall date night. Red and gold is a well-loved classic that flatters everyone. The trick to adding dimension is to glaze your eyes with different shades of golden shadow. Start with a primer on the lids to ensure that your look stays throughout the day. Then use a lighter gold shadow and spread around your lids above the crease and inner corners. Lastly, take your favorite ruby red lippie and place it on your lips. We’re loving Profusion’s Lip-to-Go Kit in the shade “Passion.”
You’ll be the queen of cool with this vibrant and ultra bold eye and lip look. This is one that’s great for the late night partying or for those brave makeup days when you are feeling more than fierce. Bold brows are essential to frame the face and to set the scene for the rest of the makeup. The Shimmers Palette from Profusion is your friend for this look! Make sure to prime your lids to keep the intensity in place and to make the colors more vibrant.
Nothing says nature like a green eye. Do not fear this bold color as it isn’t as scary to work with as you think. This can definitely be worn for a night of partying, or if you’re feeling like a boss for work. We blended the greens and gold together to bring a striking, yet subtle look. Start with a light green shimmer shadow around the main part of your lid, blending a little above the crease. Next use a lighter gold to blend on your outer corners up to the crease. A forest green is perfect for the center of your lid, blending it out to the corner for a slight cat-eye effect. Take some of a shimmer green onto the inner corner and on the sides of the bottom lash line. The result will be an irresistible green smokey eye.
This classy, yet editorial makeup is all about the gloss. A glossy lid is harder to maintain throughout the day, but it looks great in photos. We suggest you bringing some backup gloss to reapply if you really want to wear it out. Begin with a mauve or nude pink base to keep everything very monochrome. Next apply the gloss on top, dabbing it in the center and working it to the crease with a brush. Try a clear gloss from brands like Glossier or Milk. A cheaper hack for this is to try out Vaseline! If you still want to achieve a glossy lid look without the actual gloss, opt for a shimmer shadow. The trick here is to make sure that the shimmers are made from very fine glitters.
