Ethical, economical, and fabulous? Surrounded by the temptations of beauty brands, it can be hard to spot the little green logo or pair of pink bunny ears on the package of every product.

But, what does cruelty-free mean in the first place? It means that a product and its ingredients weren't tested on animals

Luckily we did the research for you, and compiled some of our favorite brands that go the extra step in what they have to offer! If you’re looking for great skincare or want to get on the vegan beauty scene, give these a try.

Don’t worry if a brand you love isn’t on the list below! Apps like Bunny Free or Cruelty-Free give you easy access to finding out if a product follows these standards. Or if we missed one, make sure you leave your favorite brand in the comment section!
