Can Roses Make You Glow Up? Here's What We Tried...
Rose Lovers, rejoice!
We all love the beauty aesthetic of roses, but did you know this gorgeous flower also packs some serious benefits in your beauty routine as well?
Roses has natural anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce the redness of irritated skin, get rid of acne, dermatitis, and eczema. Hence, why Rose Water is such a big hit!
So can you imagine how excited we were to try a rose-infused Glow Lotion? [Insert excited emoji here]. We teamed up with our friends at the upcoming beauty brand, Rose Affinity to bring you our honest thoughts on their GLOW UP MILK™ MIST.
According to their Website, this product is "a 2-in-1 toner and moisturizer. Made with a perfect blend of botanical extracts, witch hazel, and rosewater to re-energize and illuminate your skin. Leaves skin feeling radiant, soft and nourished. Formulated to support the skin's natural pH balance."
Let's see what our team thought about this miracle in a bottle product.
"At first glance, the bottle is very beautiful and girly. The roses make it very feminine. I do LOVE the packaging.
I have to say, that the first time I used the spray, a lot of product squirted out, so make sure you spray at a distance. This Glow Mist is THICK! But once you massage it into the skin, it leaves your skin with a beautiful inner glow!"
"The Glow Up Milk smells amazing! It definitely has a thicker consistency, and it would probably work best as a primer than a setting spray.
You don’t need much, so the four ounces will last forever! Even better, the nourishing spray isn’t tested on animals and there are no parabens, phthalates, and synthetic fragrance. Overall, I think it would work better as a skincare product before bedtime."
"Just by looking at all the ingredients of the spray I was excited to try it! From Witch Hazel to the Rosewater, there are a lot of benefits for your skin.
The consistency feels a little thick upon application but it's good to massage into your skin. When you spray it, it’s less of a mist so be careful. Overall, I do feel my skin got a major upgrade and it was glowy."
