Anastasia Beverly Hills x Amrezy Review
Anastasia Beverly Hills is arguably one of the most drool-worthy beauty brands to ever hit Instagram! Everyone knows if you want to get the best brows possible, you use their products.
This brand started with humble roots, as its founder, Anastasia Soare, emigrated to the United States and turned her esthetician career into a multi-million powerhouse beauty brand.
We all know Anastasia makes the best brows products, but recently, the brand switched gears and started to release an extended line of products. Glow, eyeshadow and blush palettes have all busted our wallets, but now there’s a new beauty in town... the Amrezy Highlighter (insert pray hands here!).
This brand's spanking new product is the representation of a new collaboration with Beauty Guru, Amrezy.
With one video teaser from ABH that showed Amrezy glowing to the gods, it was no secret this new highlighter was going to break the Internet and our wallets!
The black sleek packaging, equipped with gold trim and sparkly stars has to be one of the prettiest solo highlighters to drop this year.
According to the ABH site, this limited-edition promises to offer an “illuminating powder that achieves the perfect glow. With the feel of second-skin, this ultra-smooth formula delivers a radiant finish and reflects a light, brilliant gold.”
With Beauty bloggers such as @sheriivxi loving it, we decided to try it out!
The highlight itself is a beautiful metallic champagne gold. It reminds me of Champagne pop from Becca Cosmetics, but a lot more blinding. When you touch the product it's super smooth, no chunky glitter whatsoever.
When first applying the highlight I noticed that it wasn’t super blinding, which to some is a good thing, but I’m the type of girl that loves her highlight to be seen from outer space. However, it is buildable to get to that point, but be careful because it can be ashy.
My skin tone is medium light with a yellow undertone, so yes even on me I have to be careful with the amount I put on. I like to use it as a topper, meaning I use it on top of another highlighter to not only make a custom shade, but to add on more bling.
All in all, do you really need this highlight? No, you do not, especially if you have a champagne gold color already. But if you want to create your own custom shade then go ahead and make the purchase. I hope this helps you with your makeup shopping and don’t forget to feel beautiful in your own skin.
