‘Tis the season of chilly weather and we can thank the universe for granting us with temperatures cool enough to keep your makeup on all day! The transition from Summer to Fall means we can pack on a little more make.jpg

Maxi dresses represent the perfect transitional pieces, not to mention they are super trendy for the Fall season. They offer a ton of coverage and are perfect for the office dress code. If you’re naturally a lover of all things nature and flowers, the floral print is completely acceptable to wear in the fall 2017 season.

Women with the taste for bohemian fashion are probably happy to hear this! Yes, you can continue to wear your floral prints from the Summer season! Of course, be sensible and use your best discretion in deciding when to wear long floral dresses. If you live in a warmer climate and your winters aren’t extremely cold, you can definitely still rock the maxi dresses!

The ease and effortlessness of this piece may be synonymous for the Summer, but with the right accessories, you can totally own this Fall trend. You shouldn’t underestimate the classic appeal these dresses have to offer.

For all the girls who have a wild side, velvet-textured pieces are going to be the most popular fashion statement this Fall. Not only does velvet feel amazing on your skin, but it can turn up any look!

However, there is one major rule to wearing velvet textured clothing. Make sure if you are doing a two-piece, both pieces are the same color. Velvet already makes enough of a statement, it can overdo the look if you go for contrasting colors. Soft pinks, plums, and dark blues are the perfect colors for the Fall 2017 season. Again, in order to not overdo the look, go for a nude shoe to complement the velvet look.

Remember, velvet makes a very powerful statement on its own, so you don’t need a lot going on with your outfits.

Have you had those night outings, where you still want to look glammed up, but not feel freezing cold? It’s happened to the best of us! The most fashionable way to keep warm and stay glam this Fall is faux fur! It looks expensive, some can even pass as real, and you still look glammed up. When the temperature drops, pairing your favorite outfit with faux fur will make you stand out in the crowd even more!

We understand how divisive the topic of fur can be in fashion, so to remain neutral, we’re going to recommend you go with a faux for this look!

Now, what should you put under your fur? If you’re going for a bold look, we say anything glam will help put this look over the top. Bodysuits are another trend this fall that keep you warm and still looking like a diva.  If you can find a bodysuit with a little bit of shimmer, even better! Tuck the bodysuit into a faux leather skirt knee-high boots and complete the look with a classic choker.

The modern-day 70s look is an upcoming trend this Fall season. It’s a clean, sophisticated look that borrows classic fashion pieces from the 70s and incorporates it into our modern era. Tops with flowy long sleeves and bell-bottom inspired trousers are a staple in the modern day 70s look.

As for colors, do minimal color blocking. Color blocking is wearing two opposing colors in one look. Instead, wear more sophisticated with these fashion pieces. You can never go wrong with black!

Casual clothing in the Fall 2017 season isn’t a simple white tee and jeans anymore. It’s more high fashion and we all have to step up our game! We’re loving long, thick skirts to keep you warm with fashion tees tucked in. The faux fur coat never fails during the Fall, and if your favorite coat doesn’t have fur, you can buy fur stoles separately to create a whole new coat! For shoes, we already mentioned velvet as a key texture for clothing this Fall season, but it works for footwear as well.

Now, you’re probably wondering how you are going to afford all these super fashionable Fall looks. Our stylist, Taylor Trawick, believes you don’t always have to spend top dollar to keep up with the trends. “I think a lot of people feel like they have to go out and spend a lot of money every season on new clothes, when in reality they probably already own pieces that transition from season to season in their closet," says Trawick. "With every season having dozens of trends, shopping can be overwhelming.”

“My biggest advice would be to buy a few on-trend pieces for the season and incorporate them into your everyday wardrobe," says Trawick. "When you invest in a wardrobe that can transition from season to season, your styling options are virtually limitless.”
